Sadvipra, spiritual leadership
According to P.R. Sarkar's law of social cycle, four types of mentalities dominate in every society. These are also sometimes referred to as social classes. They are not heredetary but only show inclinations and tendencies of the people that make up a particular society.
These four mentalities are: (I) labourer, (II) adventurers and warriors, (III) intellectuals and religious officials, and (IV) business people. In Sanskrit they are referred to as shúdras, kśatriyas, vipras and vaeshyas respectively.
Sadvipras are those who are firmly established in morality and who possess all the four qualities or mentalities mentioned above. The meaning of the word sadvipra is “a person who is a moralist and a spiritualist and who fights against immorality”. P.R. Sarkar points out that most Sadvipras will come from the middle class, thereby meaning ks'attrya-minded shu'dras.
The world needs leaders established in morality, whose personal life is a very example for the ideas they stand for.
